Smart Car Golf Clubs

April 7th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Random

A very popular question when looking at or buying a Smart Car, will it fit golf clubs? It’s one of the first questions I thought of myself when I first looked at purchasing one. So here’s the answer, you ready?

Yes! Two bag’s full. Even with that said, sadly there’s always a doubt when reading and not seeing, so behold! Picture evidence!

It looks tight but it actually isn’t, both set’s fit comfortably in the boot side by side. I originally thought with 2 sets I would have to stack them but nada!

DriversĀ  do need to be taken out and put on top. We used 2 standard golf stand bags for this, staff bag’s etc might be a different story.

Ok, go buy that Smart.

Review: Apple Wireless Keyboard

January 1st, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Random

I’ve been looking into the wireless keyboards for the past couple of weeks as I’ve started hooking my Macbook up to my external monitor. One of the main reasons I choose the Apple Wireless Keyboard was because of it’s Bluetooth technology. New Mac’s have Bluetooth built into the machine so there is nothing to connect to your USB slots like other brands where they give you some sort of USB receiver. If you don’t want to use all your Mac’s USB slots up with a mouse and keyboard, Bluetooth is a good way to go.

Apple Wireless Keyboard

Packaged like an Apple product, comes with manual and/or instructions, 3x energizer batteries to power your keyboard and the keyboard itself.

Setup is quick and simple. Put in the batteries and switch the keyboard on, switch Bluetooth on your Macbook if you haven’t and select it from the Bluetooth menu. Painless!

If you have a Macbook or Macbook Pro then this keyboard will look and feel very similar as It’s identical. If you haven’t seen one then think of it’s size as that found on a notebook keyboard, It’s very compact made very well with good weight so it won’t go sliding anywhere. It has controls at the top for media playback, volume, expose and brightness. Only negative really being there is no number pad. If you’re a gamer I would personally look elsewhere.

Overall I’m happy with the purchase, it does it’s job without any problems and is a space saver.

Oakley iPhone Case Review

September 3rd, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Random

I have been looking for an iPhone case for some time, I’ve always been a fan of Oakley so decided to buy this. Oakley say on there website that this will not work with the 3g version.

Front View

The case is $30.00 and apart from protection, allows you to stand it on it’s side. No problems with access to all the buttons, headphone jack, power etc. It’s rubber and offers great protection for everything but the screen. I’m sure it could take a beating.

Looks great and works great, that’s what you want in a case. That’s it for this quick review!

Upgrading Wordpress with Fantastico

July 24th, 2008 | Comments Off | Posted in Random

Todays job for HaGG.US was upgrading Wordpress to 2.6 to get the nice Caption feature. I almost forgot that I had used Fantastico to install the blog in the first place. Does it get any easier? I’m forever uploading files and updating forums, if only Fantastico supported more scripts.

So for all you wordpress users, while your uploading your files, backing up your databases and gritting your teeth. We hit a button and it does all the work for us.

Highly recommend the host below if your looking for a Fantastico Host.
