Many thanks, I too have been trolling the internet for reviews on top midrange priced LCDs and have zeroed in on the Dell E248WFP, and a similar product by Samsung (245BW)

Your excellent observations have helped tip the scales toward the Dell.

Coming from years with a good, but space-hogging CRT monitor, I would be primarily using the Dell 24″ LCD for video editing, I’m also a frequent Photoshop user, and I design booklets using text and images, so clarity and resolution are important. Please tell me if you’ve found text is good and sharp, and that images have faithful color reproduction and are not distorted.
